In a city where an assigned parking space, a washer/dryer in your apartment, an elevator for your 5th floor walk-up, outdoor space and a backyard qualify as 'the dream', it is places like #TheHighLine that make you realize you have something at an arm's reach that's so very unique and special. You suddenly become a little more okay with using the laundromat.
Ed, Amy and Baby William Clark have one of the city's most unique and beautiful parks just around the corner from their home.
#TheHighLine is a revitalized piece of New York City’s past. It's an extremely special park available to New Yorker's and tourists alike. #TheHighLine (also known as the High Line Park) is a 1.45-mile-long New York City linear park built in Manhattan on an elevated section of a disused New York Central Railroad spur called the West Side Line. Inspired by the 3-mile (4.8-kilometer) Promenade plantee (tree-lined walkway), a similar project in Paris completed in 1993, the High Line has been redesigned and planted as an aerial greenway and rails-to-trails park.
So off I went with my friend of 14+ years and her outstanding family!
Baby William was incredible! When I called his name he looked right at the camera and held that pose for multiple photos. He knew exactly what to do! After almost two hours in the fresh air, William was ready to call it quits and that he did!
